Monomial

In math, a monomial is an expression that has just one term.

A term is a number (1), variable (x), or combination of both (4x).

Examples

  • 2x
  • 16
  • 34y
  • 1/2x
  • 18/4

  • 3 + 19x
  • 1/2x * 4y + 26
